facebook?

Okay,
I feel like I am completely in the dark with this whole "Facebook" phenomena. I keep getting invites, but I have no idea what to do with them... and I have no idea what the point of facebook is. Anyone have any idea? I can see myself joining the throng and then never checking it again. Is this just another passing phase... a craze perhaps?
I don't know.
Is that your face in the sky?
I don't know.
I wish I had a book,
With your face in it.
This poem and post is dedicated to Panda.

hehe - was this written before or after our conversation? (I like the photo by the way!). As I say, I think facebook will kick around for quite some time, and is fun and entertaining, but at the same time superficial and high-school "let's prove we're cool"-y. I don't think you're missing out if you miss it. However, it is a nice way to pseudo keep in touch with people you wouldn't normally email or call...
Yah, like those girls who sat in the row next to you in Social 30 class all the way back in 1999 and whom you haven't spoken with since highschool graduation. Thanks to Facebook they are on my friends list and I still don't talk to them :D
'twas written before our conversation... and xie xie for the photo compliment (we like it too!)
facebook is like cocaine. I'm addicted, and I LOVE IT! Instead of tons of high school people on mine, it's my old Duke crowd and old SU people.
hey sharon, are you around for easter for a little hangout time?
I'm around Sunday and Monday and would LOVE to see you!
I am heading back to calgary sunday - I only have friday off. Should we do brunch or lunch or something??
