Folk festival

Today is the folk festival in Calgary and I have a tarp chip on my shoulder. Tarp chips are people that bring their 8 by 10 tarps to the grass in front of the stage and lay them down to reserve a spot. These tarp chips use a big tarp for just 4 people. They get mad if you cross an inch of their tarp. Tarp chips yell and make angry sounds. Tarp chips have no respect for sarong's. Tarp chips think they are all that and a bag of chips. Tarp chips are oil tycoons who hate women. They also hate non-heterosexuals. Tarp chips are evil. Today (I predict), I will have a tarp chip on my shoulder.

Nicole

This post is dedicated to Nicole:

I like Nicole.

Today I will see Nicole.

Tomorrow I will not see Nicole.

At the Calgary Folk Festival I will (hopefully) sit with Nicole.

Sometimes I watch movies with Nicole.

I have a friend called Nicole.

Oh well...

Another defunct blog. Not that it was any surprise. Curled up, licking brownie batter from a spatula instead of attending the workshop like he was supposed to. Liking the rain showers because his power was cut. Typing "likig" into google search because he couldn't spell. Wondering if Liki will return his calls -- but she won't. He's RIP and LIK without even a front fender for the mud. His only friend, Li from China, lied about the randomness of Pi, and that was the mathematic equivalent of sleeping with his wife, not that anyone would actually marry him. Let's just call him "L".
Why must you always look for patterns in your sewing?
It's not like it's trying to tell you something.
Go to bed and close the DaVinci Code already.
